Started working on the Cormier pages this morning and here it is 9:30 pm and I've finally finished the basic information. Did a little research on the origin of the Cormier name, especially Saint-Aubin du Cormier. This is a huge family tree and will have quite a number of pages one day. I added the resource page with a list of books that I've read and found useful in researching and learning about my family history.

Hi. I am descended from your Jacquot's brother Francois and, if I recall, sister Cecile as well. I was wondering if you could share your source(s) for info on the origin of Robert and particularly his parents. When I began researching the Cormiers, about 15 years ago there was no info. With the development of sites like Ancestry and My Heritage I have seen info which corresponds with yours. As such I posed the question on Facebook to Lucie LeBlanc Consentino who has studied and written extensively on the Acadians. She stated that, according to Stephen White, head of the Acadian Studies department at the Université de Moncton, Robert's parents remain "unknown". This is as of September 2014. If there is credible info on this I would love to take my tree back another generation. Your pictures and info are beautiful and interesting. Thank you

That's true, Robert Cormier seams to be the end of the line, There is A Charles, but not proff of it
