Boucher ~ Generation 1

My great grandmother VIRGINIE BOUCHER  was born on July 6 1878 in New Brunswick, Canada. She married PIERRE M CORMIER .

She died on October 8, 1956.

Virginie and Pierre had 11 children:
  • Isadore Cormier 1903 - ?
  • Marguerite Cormier 1904 - 1985
  • Theodore Cormier 1905 - 1994
  • Joseph Meleme Cormier 1906 - 1971
  • Marie Melina Cormier 1907 - ?
  • Marie Cormier 1909 - ?
  • Philomene Cormier 1911 - ?
  • Fred Cormier 1912 - 1970
  • Angus Cormier 1920 - 1980
  • Emilia Cormier ? - ?
  • William Cormier ? - 1948

Boucher ~ Generation 2

OLIVIER BOUCHER  married MARGUERITE LEBLANC sometime before 1870 in New Brunswick, Canada. For the time being I think Olivier would have been born circa 1850 and Marguerite about 1855.

We know of five children:
  • Jean Boucher 1868 - ?
  • Marie Boucher 1869 - ?
  • Calastie Boucher 1870 - ?
  • Virginie Boucher 1878 - 1956
  • Levi Boucher 1877 - ?
I imagine there were several more children between 1870-78 since that would be normal. I am looking for evidence for more children and will add them as I find them.

Boucher History

The Boucher family played an important part in Acadian history and shows up in some of the very earliest records. My problem at the moment is finding our actual connection to the previous generation. I know for sure that it's out there somewhere but I need proof. I'll spend time working on that this week!
